How to Be a Good Boyfriend – 7 Must-Have Qualities
If you asked 10 young women to answer the question how to be a good boyfriend you would probably receive 100 different answers.
Every woman has her own opinion of what qualities a good boyfriend must have to make her happy. We will discuss 7 basic qualities everyone needs to have in their partner to make the relationship happier and more fulfilling.
A Good Boyfriend Has Integrity
Integrity is honesty no matter the circumstances. When you ask him a question you know that he is always going to tell you the truth no matter what he may lose. Integrity is deeply ingrained in anyone who lives by it.
A man who has integrity is a man you can rely on. He is not necessarily a religious man who goes to church every Sunday, yet he is aware of his spirit and how dishonesty affects his inner man. A man with integrity will risk losing you over losing his integrity.
A Good Boyfriend is Loyal
He always has your back even if he feels you are wrong.
He doesn’t compromise his integrity, but he will stand up to anyone on your behalf because he will not let anyone hurt you. He is not overly protective but will step in when you need him.
A Good Boyfriend is Fun
He is an explorer. He loves finding new things to do and new places to go. He is willing to try anything new that you suggest.
In fact, he never shoots down your ideas as being stupid or not worth his time.
A Good Boyfriend is Romantic
He understands that romance is not about money. Romance is the attentive way he listens to you. It’s how he will watch a chic flick with you and he gets the point.
Romance is the way he buys small, meaningful gifts when there is no special occasion. Romance is remembering that it’s your 3-month anniversary of the day you met.
A Good Boyfriend is Supportive
He realizes that you have dreams and goals for your life and will help you realize them. He is not off pouting because your college courses and full-time job doesn’t leave you much time for him. He keeps busy with his own life when you can’t be with him.
He doesn’t need the attention of another woman because you are busy.
A Good Boyfriend Compliments
He notices when you are wearing something new or you have done something new with your hair. He notices when you have lost a few pounds or if you have gained a few pounds he lets you know that there is more of you to love. (Of course, that motivates you to drop those extra pounds.)
He celebrates your accomplishments.
A Good Boyfriend is Into You
He is thrilled to have you in his life. He is fascinated by you and everything about you. He recognizes your flaws as being a part of what makes you who you are. You have the freedom to be who you are and because he accepts you, you are a better person because of him.
Don't Be A Hypocrite
Women are often making claims that there are no good men left, but often the list as long as your arm of things you want in a partner is unrealistic.
Case in point:
Make a list of all the things you want in a boyfriend, now tick all the categories that apply to YOU!
It's important to be realistic and leave the hypocrisy at the door. If you want a hundred good points, then you'd better have those points yourself because Mr Right deserves them TOO!

Ladies, you may be thinking that it is impossible to find a good boyfriend with all of these 7 qualities.
