The only way anyone makes money with Internet marketing is to sell someone something, if we do not sell something or have a hand in the sales process, we do not make any money, it is as simple as that, no sales equals no money.
That doesn't mean you have to sell anything, but somewhere in the cycle of sales, you have to play your part to make money.
Now that we have that basic piece of information under way, we can begin to understand how to make money out of the Internet and use our ability to sell to make money online .

Now firstly before we can sell anything to anyone, we have to get them coming to a website, now that website may be our own or maybe someone else's but without customers we cannot sell anything. What any Internet marketer needs to learn is how to get traffic to a website.
Website traffic is all about getting people to land on a certain page on a website. To do this we need to learn a few tricks. The most effective way to get traffic to a website is with links, what links do is they enable people to see your web address on another site with a click they come to your site.
Links = Traffic - Traffic = Customers = Sales = $Money
In general the more links you have the more people will come to your site. So you need to build as many links as you can. The easiest and most effective way to build links with is to use article marketing.
What is article marketing?
Article marketing is when you write an article and submit it to what we call an article directory, when you do this your article appears on the article directory's website but they allow you to leave a link within your article that can point directly to the website you want the reader to go to.
More Articles = More links = More Traffic = Customers = Sales = $$$
So, the article ends up on their website, you get a free link and that creates traffic because every time someone reads that article on the article directory then they may come to your website which is a good thing and with the more articles you write and submit to article directories then the more traffic you get, this is one of the basic and most fundamental tricks an article marketer uses to get free traffic.

Now that you have traffic coming to your page you need a product to sell, the most popular way to do this is to become an affiliate marketer, now how we do this is to go to a special website where we can select products that are we can advertise on our site and when someone clicks on the product advertised and buys their product we get a commission.
So we need to get traffic coming to our page, we need to have a product on the page - so we get traffic we sell products, this is how we make money, that is the most simple to make money online.

Over time as the page gets older and has more respect in the eyes of the search engines like Google, this means we rank better in Google results. The better we rank the more clicks we will get and all that wonderful traffic. So if we have more links to our page we will get more traffic.
So I am going to explain this really simply just in case it has not sunk in yet, there are three things you need to do and they are very basic and they are not complicated and when you do them you will make money online. In fact you have to make some pretty bad errors not to.
Number one - write as many good quality articles as you can for your website.
Number two - get as many links as you can from article directories.
Number three - place ads for affiliate products on your articles.
If you do this properly you will get clicks and make money writing articles for sure.

Of course it is a little more complicated than this with the little matter of competition and if everybody is writing articles about the same thing you are not going to rate in the Google results, so what most astute Internet marketers do is they look for words that people are searching for but there are not a lot of people writing about, these words are called keywords.
You need good keywords, you don't want to be competing with an article with 1000 links, or 100,000 competing pages in the Google results. So you need to find good keywords that have quite a few people searching for them but there are not a lot of result in Google

This is what most Internet marketers do, they find really good keywords, they write articles about them, they build links to those articles and they make money from selling affiliate products.
There are people out there that will try and sell you as so many different types of special tools, but all you really need is a good keyword researcher.
If you have this you will be able to find great keywords and write articles about these keywords. Then get some links from the the article directories and you will be in business.
Nothing I have spoken about is very complicated and if you follow these simple rules properly then you give yourself the best chance to make money.
Yes, there are ways to build more links to your website, but what you really need to do is focus on writing good article to your website using really good keywords and then getting links from article directories which are the best sources of links that you can get.
When you do this you will get traffic, you will get a coming to your page, and this means you should get people clicking on your affiliate advertisements. This should result in sales before you which of course means money.
So stop searching for new ways to make money and use the simple rules that I have shown you.
