How can this happen? It's only money, it's only paper designed to make barter easy and lives simpler. The thing is emotions have gotten involved and created a tide against wealth accumulation as to label the acquisition of wealth wrong.

Jealousy, anger, resentment, fear and hurt surround many people, however these emotional attachments to money are unfair, after all cash is just an inanimate object - Right?.

Some people may neglect their family and get obsessed with trying to pursue money at the expense of family time. These obsessive people would have found something to take up their time anyway and at least they provide security to their loved ones.

The solution is to understand that it's fine to want money and even better if you take active steps to go after what you want.

The only thing you need to consider is making your pursuit a balanced one and to ensure you don't neglect the most important things in life for the sake of a new car. Don't let negative money myths deter you from success but at the same time seek balance.
